The Carver Project pauses our Conversations today to acknowledge and celebrate those students who graduate this week from Washington University in Saint Louis.

Finishing a degree -- whether undergraduate, graduate, or professional -- deserves a specific moment that highlights the achievement. These completions are remarkable accomplishments, and we wish all graduates were in town today to celebrate with their families and friends, crammed into the Brookings Quad and honored with all the proper pomp and circumstance due on such an occasion.

The Class of 2020 includes three of our own who have shared reflections in this Connections series.  Congratulations to Johanna ChristophelAsher Gelzer-Govatos, and Meredith Liu -- and to all those graduating today!  We are grateful for you and all you have have done and all you have yet to do.

"Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future.  Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand."  Proverbs 19:20-21 (ESV)
