LAw reading Group

Led by TCP founder and WashU Law Professor, John Inazu

Professor Inazu hosts a reading group in his home every 3-4 weeks during the academic year for law student’s seeking a Christian community.

Together we consider how Christian faith can shape the study and practice of law—not only in big questions of justice but also in the ordinary habits of professional life.

For 2026-2027, we will look at short pieces by C. S. Lewis, William Stuntz, Robert Cochran, Jennifer Koh, David Skeel, Cathleen Kaveny, and Stanley Hauerwas. Themes will include law and grace, the lawyer’s vocation as a bearer of justice, faithful engagement across difference, and the moral significance of time. Our discussions will assume a Christian lens, but anyone is welcome to join.
